I have spent all of my working life in the financial sector, becoming an Independent Financial Adviser in 1994 setting up my own company in 2006.
It is always a risk starting a new business however I couldn’t have done this without the support of the clients, many of whom I have looked after now for over 15 years!
I am married and have two daughters, who make me very proud. The oldest one has just started her second year at university with the youngest now studying for her GCSE’s. My wife works in personnel (Human Resources) – we have two dogs, both springer’s, who keep me very active.
These days I’m limited to playing golf and the odd charity cricket game, although I have recently been talked into playing bowls. And yes, I am one of the youngest players at the club!! If only I could get the wood to roll the right way. I’m a very keen West Ham supporter, which doesn’t tend to go down too well around here.
I have lived in Suffolk for over 20 years now and love the way of life and general honesty and friendliness of the people.
Rob Wisker

I have worked in the financial services sector since 1988 and have been an Independent Financial Adviser since 1999. My previous experience has included branch and general office management, specialist advice to the hedge fund sector and providing compliance support as well as advising a number of individual client on their personal financial planning objectives.
In my spare time I enjoy a number of sports including golf and despite a number of ups and downs (more downs recently) I follow Leeds United football club when time allows. I have also recently become a regular spectator at swimming galas and training sessions as my daughter now swims at least five times a week!
Yes, I do have a strange surname and believe it or not I married a Miss Shave!
Andy Austin

I worked for a major UK bank since after finishing my education, working throughout East Anglia. I had a traditional banking career except for five years when I joined a small but dynamic part of a Management Training team. I spent the last 10 years of my career with them working more closely with premier banking clients and Companies before leaving in 2008. I’m enjoying my work with Langham Pensions & Investments Ltd providing bespoke financial planning to clients, helping them get the most from their assets and investments.
Outside of work, I am married with two children, one approaching the end of University education, so I am looking forward to a reduction in my living costs sometime in the next decade or so!
I have played sport all my life, but my finest playing days are behind me. I still play golf and shoot, but I seem to be much better at the after match socialising than playing these days.
Dawn Ward
Operational Support
I joined LPI over 3 years ago having worked in the financial services industry for over 35 years, starting out at Britannic then moving to Baker Tilly and Beckett Financial Services before joining LPI.
I provide valuable client management and administration support to the LPI consultants. This includes a multitude of tasks associated within the financial services administration role. I have the following qualifications FPC 1, 2 and 3 and also CF6 Mortgage Advice.
Outside work I enjoy gardening, being involved in the village allotment project, baking and long walks with my dog.
Sarah Williams

I’m usually the first point of contact when telephoning and visiting our office. Along with Dawn, I support all of the consultants with existing and new LPI clients but also day to day admin duties. This includes anything from updating our database and systems, to helping clients apply for investments and other administration requirements.
Before joining LPI, I worked within the customer services sector, where I gained valuable experience dealing with clients individual needs and demands. Since joining LPI I’ve gone from strength to strength adapting to the ways of financial services. And recently completed my CII Certificate in Financial Life & Pensions Administration.
Outside of work I enjoy socialising but most of all driving around in my old mini cooper!
